El Monte is such a great place. my husbands' relatives were actually living there in Rosemead Blvd. this Blvd. has the best fine dining reataurants or even fast food chains all over El Monte. have you tried to dine in Chefs Hat Night Club? There's also a great Mexican restaurant in Peck Rd.. the Costa Azul Rest & Seafood! yummmmy!!! :D

I love Mexican food too. My sister makes the best burritos and her sauce is very good. If only I can make you taste it. Hahaha !

Why do many white folks love mexican food, even though many of them cant stand Mexicans and want them to stay south of the border? I have been starred down at Mexican restaurants by white folks even though I am Mexican! does that make sense!! I do live in one of the whittest cities in America, Boise,ID and considering a relocation to Sacramento. KPO

For what it's worth, I like most Mexican food I've tried so far. I'm especially in love with tamales, anything involving tomatillos and jicama, and mole. Roasted peppers, pozole, tacos, enchiladas... bring it on!

When we were in El Monte three years ago, we stayed at the El Monte Sagrado Resort. They had some amazing Mexican influenced cuisine, and fresh ingredients. If you are going to be in El Monte, you need to visit the Sagrado Resort and eat at their restaurant.
